CGD is currently recruiting for Programa Geração Caixa, a 12 months paid trainee program. We are looking for masters and Ph.D. students with an interest in a unique learning experience that will allow getting to know more about the financial sector.
As an AI Engineer Trainee you will have the following Key Responsabilities:
Leverage Unstructured Data (Image, Natural Language, Audio) for Business Efficiency.
Meeting with stakeholders, discussing their needs and translating them into Data Science problems.
Conduct data-driven analyses to provide input to decisions.
Identifying proper solutions / models / pre-trained models for particular business cases.
Preprocessing the data (cleaning, transforming) for ML models.
Train ML models on prepared training data using GPU on cloud and on premises.
Test and evaluate ML models and present conclusions on further improvements.
Using and tweaking existing frameworks for running automated testing and evaluation of ML models.
Maturing models to be available as services for other components.
Present your results on an ongoing basis to team mates and business stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science/engineering, or other related technical fields with equivalent practical experience
Professional experience inferior to 2 year
Strong knowledge of Python programming language
Knowledge with data science toolkits (e.g. Numpy, Pandas, Scikit, PySpark, Databricks, MLFlow, Keras, Pytorch)
Knowledge of Deep Learning with focus on NLP and Computer Vision
Experience using supervised, unsupervised and semi supervised techniques on large, disparate and unbalanced datasets
Experience communicating findings to other Data Scientist and project leaders
Proactive attitude and agility of reasoning
Strong team spirit, leadership capability, dynamism and communication capacity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English;
NICE TO HAVE
Experience in bank or financial sectors is a plus
Experience with MLOps frameworks: e.g. Google Vertex AI
